The European Diploma in Intensive Care(EDIC) is an intensive care doctorate-level qualification that was first introduced in the UK in 1991. EDIC Exam proposed by the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine (ESCIM). It is the most highly regarded and recognized diploma in the field of intensive care medicine and has been endorsed by the European Union. EDIC Exams Overviews: The European Diploma in Intensive Care (EDIC) exams are designed to test the knowledge and skills of medical practitioners in the field of intensive care. The EDIC exams are taken by medical personnel of all levels, from interns and residents to experienced consultants. The exams cover a wide range of topics, including anatomy, pharmacology, physiology, pathology, clinical practice, and research. How to prepare for EDIC Exam (EDIC): Exam Type: Multiple Choice Duration: 2 hours Number of Questions: 40 The Exam is conducted by NCEES. The exam consists of 40 questions and each question has 4 choices out of which only one is correct. The exam is divided into four sections namely, General English, General Mathematics, General Science, and General Social Science. The General English Section is usually the first section to be tested and the General Maths Section is the second section.
